Goumbook's Give A Ghaf campaign has been the leading civilian-sector programme for restoring native ghaf and sidr to the UAE landscape for over a decade. The ghaf (Prosopis cineraria) is the UAE's national tree, drought-adapted, slow-growing, and capable of supporting an entire desert ecosystem under its canopy.
