About the partner
SEKEM is a Right-Livelihood-Award-winning Egyptian initiative that has been turning desert sand into productive biodynamic farmland since 1977. Their model is uniquely integrated — soil restoration, mixed-orchard planting, community schools, and a working economic ecosystem all in one programme.
Why we partner with them
Egypt is the largest population in the Arab world and one of the most water-stressed major economies. SEKEM proves the model for desert-to-orchard conversion that the rest of the MENA region will need this century — and gives Forever a credible North-African anchor.
