Trees for the Future

Senegal · Kenya · Tanzania · Mali · Uganda · Est. 1989

Agroforestry with 250,000+ smallholder farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa.

About the partner

Trees for the Future trains smallholder farmers to convert degraded land into productive 'Forest Garden' plots — fruit-bearing trees, nitrogen-fixers, and food crops in a single integrated agroforestry system. Farmers own the land, eat from the trees, and sell the surplus.

Why we partner with them

This is the single partner that most directly maps to our Seed Programme: trees in the ground AND livelihoods built around them. It also creates a natural pipeline to GreenFlip (our living-catalog product) as farmers reach saleable yield.
